Returning to Church 

Information for those returning to worship during Covid (V1 Sept 2020)
As we plan to reopen Church from Sunday 13 September 2020 at 10.45am please note the following guidance which is in place for your safety and the safety of others:
• Please do not attend Church is you are feeling unwell and specifically if you have a temperature, new onset cough or loss of taste and or smell. If you develop any of these symptoms stay at home for 14 days and arrange to get a Coronavirus test by calling 119.
• Please wear a face covering at all times (unless exempt) when in the Church buildings. Masks can be removed by the Preacher when leading worship from the pulpit or lectern and by those taking part in readings or leading prayers.
• Please use the hand gel on entry and exit.
• Please sign in with your name and contact number on arrival as we are required to keep a record of those visiting the building for track and trace purposes.
• Please read the posters on the notice board about Coronavirus.
• When entering the Church please do not move the seating as seats have been placed to maintain social distance.
• Please fill the Church from the front and when leaving exit from the rear via the vestry door.
• Please only sit with people from your household or those in your social bubble.
• Please maintain social distance and stay at least 2m (6ft) from others.
• Please do not bring food or drink into the Church or Church rooms.
• Collection will not be taken during the service, please place any offering into the collection plate as you leave. If possible, please use direct debit or standing orders to make your offering.
• Where hymn books or bibles are used, please leave them in place in the Church for at least 48hrs after use.
• Sharing the peace or physical contacts with others will not take place.
• Please follow the revised instructions for Communion which will be explained. Communion wafers will be used instead of bread and Communion Wine will be served in individual glasses with no use of shared utensils.
• The kitchen area and Male and Female toilets are closed. Please use the Disabled Toilet if required and wipe all surfaces after use with the disposable wipes provided.
